Vegas is still here. Yes, it is. (but I read somewhere that they are finally feeling the brunt of the economy and sub-prime mortgage fallout… is it true????) And it seems it just keeps creeping out from the edges.
Driving up to it was very, very cool. I’ve only been here once and I didn’t have a window seat then so didn’t get to see much on the descent.

Is Las Vegas still hiring substitute teachers? I am a local resident of Las Vegas and have been looking for a decent job for several months now without much luck.I remember some time ago that there was a teacher shortage here; are they still hiring substitutes, at least on a temporary basis? I have a bachelors degree but no formal teaching experience. Thanks for any info.
I’m a licensed teacher in Las Vegas and the above poster is right, but there are some things you need to know that the website won’t tell you:They are still hiring but I advise against it. In the end, you’ll pay $150.00+ for your license but you only have three more months or so until school is out for the summer. Also factor in Spring Break into the equation.You cannot sub during the summer since those jobs are reserved for licensed teachers.If you do not sub for a certain number of days each month they will remove you from the sub services system during the normal school year unless you give them a reason for inactivity Condos Toronto
.This means that despite having a valid license,you will need to pay the additional money and attend the two day orientation all over again.The interview is easy but it’ll take a month after the interview to receive your hiring packet via mail.
